We installed the black velvet sheets and and then painted the stencils on with acrylic spray paint. All of the audience was then encouraged to add their message to the black velvet with colored chalk.

Photos from a fantastic grad class I took over the summer at LIU CWPost. The class was The History and Emergence of Street art and Graffiti and it was taught by artist/professor Ryan Seslow. We worked on a collaborative mural (above) and had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic artists. Below is a group photo including artists, CAKE and Chris Stain along with Ryan Seslow.
